Получила только что письмо от профессора:
The final exam will constitute 52 questions in total.
32 of the questions will come from Chapters 14 through 20. The remaining 20 will come from Chapters 4 through 13. Choosing the best possible answer for each question will earn you 8 points towards your course grade for the semester. You will get another 4 points if you fill out your name properly on the scantron form.

10:33 am - на концерт AC/DC
Собралась на концерт, посмотреть на Angus Young. Написано что билеты в продаже уже как 3 дня. Когда хочу их взять (любой за $90), не берутся, а пересылается на новый сайт. В итоге получается такое :

Сегодня на работу пришел коллега с маленьким последним кусочком торта но в большой коробке. Открыл эту коробку на столе и начала завтракать. Тем самым он " остроумно напомнил" что у него случился день рождения, о котором каждый конечно забыл.

One more time.. My university just keeps me amazed every week:
There have been several reliable sightings of an animal fitting the
description of a cougar on the campus. The description of the sighted
cat is: light tan and tawny brown, about 4 feet long with a 4 foot tail,
and weighing about 50 pounds. Several sightings have been reported from
the area of Cole Field House, near the Clarice Smith Performing Arts
Center, and continuing through the wooded areas to the area of the
Comcast Center and Arena Drive Garage. There has been no report of
aggressive behavior on the part of the animal, but community members are
warned that cougars are a predatory species and that, if seen, the
animal should not be approached.
How about that? :)

07:30 pm - Concert : ColdPlay
Нет, я там не была. ColdPlay собирают тысячи людей 3го Августа, в 30 мин от моего дома.
Eще вчера думала потратить пару сотнь на этот концерт. Ничего из шоу-предусмотренного, кроме летящих с неба бумажных бабочек на толпу, я там не увижу.
Зашла на ютюб, послушала их банальные 4 аккорда, и довольна.
плюс, учеба впереди.

01:02 pm - ECLIPSE FOREVER!
Today, I finally decided to switch to Eclipse. I like its syntax highlighting, browser view, and friendly and java-reminding environment. Dreamweaver I used to work with is more convenient in some way while writing Coldfusion applications, and my manager says me so. But please.. Discovering compile errors in a browser instead of in an editor simply sucks.

Давно я их не наблюдала.
Сдула его. Забралась на стул.
Лекционная комната с проектором и стульями, ничего лишнего. Откуда это чудовище появилось не пойму.

A few weeks ago I downloaded MySQL to work on my project at work. I had (I guess :) )to leave my contact information because I basically downloaded it for my company. So today I received the following email:

Furthermore... I found out that somebody called me today, one, 2, and 2.5 hours ago. Who was that? Sally :) She even tried to leave me a message but probably scared my accent, so I could hear only the rusting when she hung up :)

Two days ago, during the lecture on OOP, my professor ( NPP ) interjected one little thought(he always makes funny comments):
"Real programmers drink Coke. They don't drink Dr.Pepper or Pepsi. Are you with me, fellows and fellowets? [smiled] If you drink Dr.Pepper, boooooo"
The guy from the first row immediately said NPP : "You suck!"
(The guy drinks Dr.Pepper)
NPP looked at him, smiled, and continued the lecture.
Hmm... Well... I would never say "You suck", 'cause I consider saying "you suck" as a very impolite while talking to a teacher. Or people who older me (which, by the way, will not be a case years later :) ).
US students pay for their classes and teachers are paid, so students always have a chance to complain, and the administration will gratefully examine what they complain about. I am not saying that I would rather not criticize my professor (Hell, having such a power should make me feel good, shouldn't it ? :) )
Nevertheless, I really miss my times when students were not impudent enough to say "ты\вы - отстойник."
In general, I thought that students at the university would have more good manners than at college. But.. university students do not bother themselves with saying "hello " or "thank you" in a bus, whereas almost every college student does say so. I notice such things all the time. The quality of university education is incomparably better though..

Закрылась я там, на замочек. А он вдруг сломался. Как ни старалась, не могла его открыть минут 10.
Пришлось ползти под дверкой.

Собираюсь я очень скоро говорит с одним доктором с моего универа по поводу моей математики. Именно он будет решать что я знаю и какие предметы мне брать.
А сегодня мне на работе сказали, что он отец создателя Google.
Отличненько...
Прошлый раз, когда я с ним говорила, он мне сказал: "Мой сын учился на этом факультете, ты уверена что сможешь нормально учиться?" Я и не поняла что он имел ввиду. Ну... удачи мне...

Папа получил звание Заслуженного Учителя России.
Папаня - молодец.
Надеюсь, дадут ему премию как за Учителя Года.
Мама заканчивает вторую книгу; надеюсь, будет такой же успешной как и первая.
У них нихрена не было времени на это всё когда дочери были рядом :)

Сегодня на пасху решила попробовать приготовить роллы, вместо яиц. Очень удачно, скажу. Что про вкус - это оценивать мужу, он эксперт :) Сначала было так: Главное - ножик поострее !
